Frequently asked questions

Where does the Finance data come from?
From primary sources: the Superintendencia de Bancos de Panamá (system rates), ACODECO (card study), each broker's regulators (SEC, FINRA, FCA, CySEC, ASIC, SMV) and the official pages of banks and brokers. Every table shows the date of the last verification.
Does Revisa24 take commission from banks or brokers?
No bank pays to be listed. Some brokers may have an affiliate link, marked as such; it does not change the order or the scores, which follow the methodology published on the brokers page.
How often are rates updated?
Savings and card rates are reviewed with every SBP and ACODECO release; broker data with every change in conditions we detect. The verification date sits next to each table.
Do these comparisons apply to foreigners living in Panama?
Yes. The territorial tax advantage and access to international brokers depend on tax residence, not passport. Several banks accept resident foreigners; the accounts table says so in the notes.

Start with what weighs most on your wallet

A savings account at 1% versus one at 4.75% is $375 a year per $10,000. A broker with real shares avoids leverage you do not need.
